Kearny Golf Course - Kearny Kearny, Arizona

kearny's roots begin in the early 1800s, as legendary Arizona explorer Father Kino sought out to convert the Apache Indian communities in the area to Christianity. In the late 1800s, Gen. Stephen W. Kearny set up camp near the Gila River, at the base of the Pinal Mountains. Kearny called the area hostile and uninhabitable. Fifty years later, that "uninhabitable area" became something quite the opposite

The first of the new Kearnians moved into town in 1954.

Fred Enke offers golfers an interesting and challenging approach to golf course design. The major features of the course are its vast teeing areas, large greens, strategic bunkers and sand traps, and most important of all, its concept as a semi-arid, limited turf course. Forty Niner Golf & Country Club - Forty Niner Tucson, Arizona

Forty Niner Country Club, a William Francis Bell-designed classic, is an established club on the eastern side of Tucson.
