Welcome to the Toscana Golf Club

The Golf Club Toscana was founded in 1999 and was designed by Keith Preston. 18 Holes, par 71. It was elected amongst the top 10 New Golf Courses in Italy by Italian journalists. The venue for the 2006 of Alps Tour, for the 2011 of Alps Tour Qualifying School and numerous Pro-Am took place at this Championship course.

Thanks to on site water reservoirs our fairways are kept in perfect condition all year round even during the hottest summer season. Experienced players can enjoy the natural course which offers great panoramic views of the sea way down to the Elba island. The greens are very tricky and one must pay attention to the various bunkers which protect them.

If you wish to obtain a good score card, you should surely pay attention to avoid hitting the multiple water hazards and bunkers which are present in most parts of the holes. All players and even beginners will love this course due to the relative shortness of the fairways.

The Golf club Toscana is acknowledged as one of the most exclusive in Italy and borders directly with the Cordial Golf Resort Il Pelagone. Surrounded by silvery olive trees and outlined by endless rows of cypress.

A challenging golf course that fits perfectly into the landscape. The 18 holes golf establishment with international standards, golf school, large driving range, 2 putting greens offers professional golfers as well as beginners all the essential requirements.

We look forward to making your stay enjoyable!

Designed by: David McIntosh/Bert Coghill (1929), Joe Lee & Rocky Roquemore

A fan favorite since its opening in 1929, Course No. 2 was given the nickname "RAVINES." The sporty, championship layout is routed through wooded, rolling terrain and challenges golfers with ravines on nearly half of the holes. Unique to the RAVINES course is the closing "19th hole." The challenging par-3 offers a testy putting surface and a memorable end the day's golf match.

In preparation for the 1997 U.S. Amateur qualifying three new holes, a par 3, par 4, and par 5 were constructed to create the present-day "U.S. Amateur" layout. The RAVINES course is a favorite of Cog Hill's regular golfers.

The RAVINES layout has been fortunate to receive recognition by numerous golf publications such as "10 Best Two-Course Combinations in the World" by Links Magazine, "America's Best Courses Under $100" byGolf Digest Course & Travel Magazine, and "Favorite Classic Courses Under $125" by PGA Professionals Guide to Travel.

travel at Pines Golf Course

Located in La Jolla (pronounced "la hoya"), California, Torrey Pines Golf Course sits on the coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and is recognized as the premier municipal golf course owned and operated by a city. It is named after the Torrey Pine, a rare tree that grows in the wild only along this local stretch of the coastline in San Diego County and on Santa Rosa Island.

It offers two picturesque and, due to its yearly hosting of the PGA TOUR's Farmers Insurance Open event, widely recognizable championship 18-hole golf courses. It is surely the most accessible public facility for the die-hard enthusiast wishing to play at a world-renown facility that nearly all golfers know by name.

Torrey Pines was the site of perhaps the most memorable modern day U.S. Open Championship, when in 2008, under the typically brutal conditions of this major tournament, injured and hobbling Tiger Woods defeated Rocco Mediate during their sudden death playoff after 90 grueling holes of exciting golf.

Torrey Pines also offers one of the largest on-course golf shops in the United States, expert instruction, tournaments, and advanced golf schools.

You can visit Torrey Pines for a round of golf or pleasant shopping experience from sunrise to sunset every day of the year by following these simple directions:

  • From points South of La Jolla, traveling North on the Interstate 5 freeway:

  • Stay in the middle lane and look for the large green road sign in the median announcing "Golf Course 2nd Right"
  • Take the exit and follow the curving road to the right as it merges with Callan Road Continue on Callan Road until you enter the driveway of the Torrey Pines Lodge
