Since 1926, our Country Club has served as the premier venue for connoisseurs of fine culinary and recreational entertainment. Time is precious and there's no better place to spend your leisure time with family and friends then at Hardscrabble Country Club.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Perry Maxwell, our course was built in 1926 on the former site of Hardscrabble Farm, a fruit orchard. The course was renovated in 1998 by Jay and Carter Morrish, updating the bunkers and greens to the modern game while preserving the layout.

Hardscrabble golf has a rich history. In 1930, C.B. (Jess) Willard initiated the Hardscrabble Invitational Tournament. Over the years, the tournament became the C.B. Willard Memorial Tournament and then the Southwest Amateur Championship for the Willard Memorial Trophy. The same tournament continues today as our 4-Ball Invitational, one of the best golf events in the region.

The Hardscrabble Open, also known as the Hardscrabble Women's Invitation, was a golf tournament played at the Hardscrabble Golf Club in Fort Smith, Arkansas from 1945 to 1953. It was an official LPGA Tour event from 1948 to 1950. Many famous lady players attended a meeting here and legend is that the LPGA Tour was born out of those meetings and this event. Past winners of the Hardscrabble Open include, Patty Berg, Babe Zaharias, and Betty Jameson.

Alice Dye(Mrs. Pete) won the USGA Senior Women's Championship here, and Mark Brooks and Bob Estes each won the Trans Mississippi Championships at Hardscrabble. Other championships have included the Women's Southern, Western Women's, Western Junior Girls' Championship, and many ASGA Stroke and Match Play Championships.

Host to more than 13 PGA Nationwide Tour events, Hardscrabble continues to be a favorite among tour pros for its classic style of excellent conditioning. Come to Hardscrabble, and you'll see why it is considered one of the finest courses in the region.

Welcome to the Harrison Country Club

Harrison Country Club, established in 1924, is one of the oldest golf courses in northern Arkansas. Located just 30 minutes south of Branson, Missouri, HCC features an 18 hole golf course with bent grass greens which have been rated some of the finest in Arkansas. Deer Trails Golf Course - Deer Trails Barling, Arkansas

Deer Trails Golf Course is a 9-hole course in the naturally beautiful, park-like setting of Chaffee Crossing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The course designed by James Holmes opened in 1973. In 2004 the course was renovated by Cater Morrish and Associates, providing new green complexes, bunkering and tee complexes. The beautifully redesigned 18 hole championship course provides the player with many scenic views and has been stretched to over 7, 118 yards, providing a test to all skill levels.

Our golf course of twenty-seven holes is one of the most challenging and beautiful in the Mid-South. Annually, Pleasant Valley Country Club golf course is ranked in the top three courses in the state. World renowned golf architect Joe Finger designed Pleasant Valley’s prestigious course to not only challenge the serious golfer, but also to allow the novice a chance to hone their skills.

A step in the future to challenge the golfer, “Champion” ultra-dwarf bermudagrass has been planted on the putting surfaces of the main eighteen holes of the course along with the three practice greens. The change was made in the summer of 2009 to provide a putting surface that would give the membership a high quality surface during the peak playing season. 

The primary turfgrass of tees, fairways and rough is 419 bermudagrass. The fairways consist of 35 acres, the tees 4 acres. The oak tree lines fairways are a distinctive characteristic to the course as well. Five sets of tees allow for varying skill levels, measuring from 7103 to 5405 yards.

With eight ponds located throughout the property, they provide plenty of area for the wildlife of fish, turtles and frogs. On the main lake behind the clubhouse waterfowl of ducks and our signature swans are always active.

The practice facility has a 40,000 sq ft practice hitting area and artificial mats for inclement weather usage. A portion of the tee is over-seeded for use during the dormant season. A 10,000 sq ft and 4,500 sq ft practice putting greens simulate the contours of the course greens for quality practice sessions. Additionally there is a practice chipping and bunker shot green for numerous shot practicing.
