The course was designed by Mr. George Black, a native of Carnoustie, Scotland. Mr. Jody Miller (our Club Manager) will answer any questions that you may have concerning Briarmeade Golf Club. Briarmeade is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership at large, and has a fine staff of employees with 118 paying members and approximately 12 members who are staff, in-kind and honorary. Evans Barnes Golf Course

Built in 1977 Evans Barnes Golf Course is located on the campus of L. B. Wallace Community College. This Evans Barnes design features a 6500 yard, par 72 layout. It is characterized by 18 separate tee boxes for a 9-hole facility. The City of Andalusia took over the operation of the course in October 2002 and in November a new underground irrigation system was installed.
